About Me
I have always had the travel bug, something I blame on watching too many National Geographic specials when I was young.
Born in Whistler, British Columbia, I attended high school at Brentwood College on Vancouver Island and obtained an undergradute degree in Geography from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York.
I studied abroad in Geneva, Switzerland for the first half of my second year of university and spent the following summer volunteering in Kosovo. After graduating from Colgate in 2005 I traveled independently around the world for a year as a Thomas J. Watson Fellow , exploring issues of cross-border conservation and development.
I currently work as a Tour Leader for Adventures Abroad Worldwide Travel and in the summers for National Geographic Student Expeditions .
